Az október 23-i megemlékezést követő napokban a közbeszédet ismét a tömegek száma uralta: vajon a Fidesz vagy a Tisza Párt rendezvényén vettek részt többen?
A Tisza Párt számára a szervezést nehezítette, hogy a hatóságok katonai célból légtérzárat rendeltek el Budapest belvárosa felett a megemlékezés idejére.
Mindez még inkább ráirányította a figyelmet egy fényképre, amely állítólag egy Budapestre érkező Ryanair-járat fedélzetéről készült. A fotón a Hősök tere látható, éppen a Nemzeti Menet idején – és a képen valóban több tízezres tömeg sejlik fel.
A felvételt ugyanakkor sokan kétségbe vonták: volt, aki szerint a főváros belvárosa így nem látszik a leszálló gépekről, mások azzal érveltek, hogy az adott irányból nem közelítenek a repülők, és olyan vélemény is akadt, amely szerint légtérzár idején nem közlekedhetett volna ott utasszállító.
De vajon tényleg készülhetett ilyen kép? Ennek jártunk utána.
Időpontok és adatok: stimmel minden
A Tisza Párt Facebook-oldalán közzétett program szerint a Nemzeti Menet gyülekezője 13 órakor kezdődött a Deák Ferenc téren, az indulást 14 órára tervezték, a Hősök terére pedig 18 óráig hirdették meg a rendezvényt.
A szóban forgó fényképet a Redditen tette közzé a készítője, 15:49-kor.
A FlightRadar24 “Playback” funkciójának segítségével visszanéztük az adott időszak légiforgalmát. Az alábbi képen is látható, hogy volt Ryanair-járat Frankfurtból Budapestre, amely a város felől közelítette meg a Liszt Ferenc Nemzetközi Repülőteret. A radaradatok szerint a gép 15:44-kor (13:44 UTC) haladt el Budapest felett – vagyis alig öt perccel a Reddit-poszt feltöltése előtt, pontosan úgy, ahogy a bejegyzés leírásában szerepel.
A két időpont, valamint a Tisza Párt programja teljesen egybeesik.
Korábbi felvételek is igazolják
A YouTube-on egy kilenc évvel korábban feltöltött videó is látható, amely egy Budapestre leszálló repülőről készült. A felvételen jól kivehető a belváros és a Hősök tere, vagyis hasonló szögből valóban látható a tér és környéke egy repülőgépről.
Összegzés
A rendelkezésre álló adatok – a repülési útvonal, az időpontok és a korábbi felvételek – alapján teljesen reális, hogy a vitatott fénykép valóban egy Ryanair-járat fedélzetéről készült október 23-án, a Nemzeti Menet idején.

In the days following the October 23rd commemoration, public discourse was again dominated by the question: which event had a larger crowd, the Fidesz or the Tisza Party rally?
For the Tisza Party, organizing was made more difficult by the authorities’ decision to impose an airspace closure over downtown Budapest for military reasons during the commemoration.
This drew even more attention to a photo allegedly taken from the cabin of a Ryanair flight arriving in Budapest. The photo shows Heroes’ Square during the National March—and indeed, a crowd of tens of thousands is visible in the image.
However, many questioned the authenticity of the photo: some argued that the downtown area does not appear like that from descending aircraft, others claimed that planes do not approach from that direction, and some opined that no passenger planes could have flown there due to the airspace closure.
On YouTube, there is a video uploaded nine years ago showing a landing plane approaching Budapest. The footage clearly shows the downtown and Heroes’ Square, confirming that from a similar angle the square and its surroundings are indeed visible from an airplane.
The disputed photo was posted on Reddit by its creator at 3:49 p.m.
Using FlightRadar24’s “Playback” feature, we reviewed air traffic from that time. The accompanying image shows a Ryanair flight from Frankfurt to Budapest that approached Liszt Ferenc International Airport from the city’s direction. Radar data shows the plane passed over Budapest at 3:44 p.m. (1:44 UTC)—just five minutes before the Reddit post was uploaded, exactly as the post description states.
Earlier footage supports this
A video uploaded to YouTube nine years ago shows a plane landing in Budapest. The footage clearly reveals the downtown area and Heroes’ Square, meaning that from a similar angle, the square and its surroundings are indeed visible from an airplane.
Summary
Based on the available data—the flight path, timing, and previous footage—it is entirely plausible that the disputed photo was indeed taken from a Ryanair flight on October 23 during the National March.
